Home Remedies for Constipation

Constipation is also due to lack of fiber in your diet. Lack of physical activity and exercise can also make your body lazy and tend to cause constipation. Exercise regularly and walk 4-5 km daily to keep your body active.

Cabbage juice, carrot juice and spinach juice and mango are recommended to drink and mangoes as diet for relieving constipation. Figs dipped in water and dates in milk are an effective home remedy for constipation.

A teaspoon of linseeds with water or 1-2 teaspoons of almond oil can cure the problem. Orange juice taken with cup olive oil or without it in empty stomach for a week helps too. Castor oil is helpful too. You can also make a cup of hot water and add little quantity of sour lime juice and salt, mix well and drink to cure constipation.

All ingredients mentioned must be easily available and if you are pregnant or a patient of diabetes, blood pressure or any other disease make sure you consult your doctor before trying these at home.

Constipation does not have any severe effects and does not come under the category of disease so it can be easily cured at home with certain measures.
