In reality, some people with Acid Reflux never even experience heartburn. I’m convinced everything starts and ends with our diets! I dare anyone to prove me wrong.

Some of the symptoms of acid reflux include: (All of these can be treated with

will work, but use common sense when trying to get well.

Below are a few more tips, along with the home remedies for acid reflux, that will help tremendously:

(Notice in this list how many issues are DIET related)
Home Remedies For Acid Reflux must be a part of a better diet.

• Wait at least 3 hours after eating before you lie down
• Elevate your head at least 8″ higher than your stomach to let gravity help keep stomach acids from coming up into your esophagus when going to bed
• Don’t bend over or do exercises until hours after eating
• Eat several small meals instead of 3 large meals
• Don’t drink carbonated beverages (that goes for the rest of us too!)
• Cut out fatty foods from your diet (they increase the time food remains in the stomach)
• Quit smoking (nicotine relaxes the “lower esophageal sphincter” -LES)
• Cut out chocolate (it relaxes the LES)
• Don’t drink alcoholic beverages (alcohol relaxes the LES)
• Eliminate caffeine (it relaxes the LES)
• Eat a healthy diet, with plenty of roughage, so you don’t develop constipation – (that pushing will also push food or stomach acids upward.)
• Lying on your left side can help relieve heartburn by keeping the stomach below the esophagus
• Avoid stress and anger (another good tip for all of us)
• Mix 1 tablespoon of Natural Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water, and sip this during your meal (I recommend taking before and after your meal)
• Eat yogurt and/or kefir, as it contains beneficial digestive bacteria, as do pro-biotic acidopholis Capsules (Get good quality ones though)
• Eat dried figs, fresh pineapple*, and dried or fresh papaya. These are all loaded with digestive enzymes. Or you could take Digestive Enzymes in capsule form.

Pineapple will help most people, but, it can bother some people. If it bothers you, eliminate it from your diet. Continue using all the other home remedies for acid reflux though.

I highly recommend doing a complete cleanse and then start on a new diet which eliminates all of the above mentioned “foods to avoid.” This is not the Home Remedies For Acid Reflux category necessarily, but I like to advise my clients to start fresh and clean.

If you’ve never done a “parasite cleanse,” I highly recommend you do that before the colon cleanse and then you KNOW you’re starting clean from scratch and your healthy diet will be able to “absorb” all the nutrients much better and efficiently!

Take advantage of these Home Remedies For Acid Reflux and watch your life change. You won’t have to use special pillows and live with constant discomfort when everyone else is enjoying life. Life is too short to suffer all the time. Home Remedies For Acid Reflux will help you stop the pain and discomfort.

If you’re not exercising… do it. One of the home remedies for acid reflux is exercise, and it’s just as important as the above mentioned. Even if it’s only for a brisk walk. (Unless you have a disability, you should have some exercise at least 5 days a week.)

The best way to relieve symptoms of acid reflux involves making lifestyle changes, like avoiding certain foods, losing weight, stop smoking and exercising regularly.

A wide variety of over-the-counter medications like antacids, anti-gas or anti-flatulence drugs, oral suspension and H-2 receptor blockers are available to provide temporary relief. I recommend using home remedies for acid reflux.

Avoid the overuse of over-the-counter medications as they may cause side effects like constipation and diarrhea.

For more frequent and severe episodes of acid reflux, your doctor may prescribe medications such as proton pump inhibitors. If lifestyle changes and home remedies for acid relfux seem to fail, surgery may be recommended.

Home remedies for acid reflux, natural and holistic treatments have been used for centuries to treat and provide symptomatic relief for digestive problems.

Homeopathic remedies are safe and effective to use for people of all ages without unwanted side effects.

Find the home remedies for acid reflux that work for you and be healthy again!

Don’t believe what the doctors tell you, claiming that your problem is life long and you’ll “just have to live with it.” Get rid of

acid reflux

for good, following the advice I just gave you.
