Hemorrhoid Treatment

Hemorrhoid treatment

can be an over the counter product or you can use a home remedy.

Hemorrhoid Treatment I Recommend!

Hemorrhoids are also called “piles,” and are swollen, inflamed veins in your anus and lower rectum.

Hemorrhoid treatment

required will be determined by the seriousness of your symptoms.

Causes of Hemorrhoids:

Hemorrhoids can be caused by straining during a bowel movement or from increased pressure on your anus and lower rectum veins during pregnancy. A hemorrhoid treatment at home can usually clear this up in a short time.

Hemorrhoids located inside the rectum are called (internal hemorrhoids), or they may develop under the skin, around the anus, and these are called (external hemorrhoids).

Hemorrhoid treatment

is available in many forms since hemorrhoids are a common ailment.

The sign of hemorrhoids is the itching, discomfort and bleeding a person feels in the anus. They say that, by about the age of 50, half of adults have dealt with hemorrhoids at some time or another. But, those who live a healthier lifestyle may never need a hemorrhoid treatment.

Fortunately, many hemorrhoid treatments are available to treat them. Most people can get relief from symptoms using a natural home treatment and lifestyle changes.

Hemorrhoids Symptoms:

Painless bleeding during bowel movements (You may notice small amounts of bright red blood on your tissue or in the toilet
Itching and irritation in your anus
Pain or discomfort
Swelling around your anal region
A painful or sensitive lump near your anus
Sometimes these may be leakage of feces
Sitting for long periods of time on the toilet
Chronic diarrhea or constipation

When to apply hemorrhoid treatment or see a doctor:

Bleeding during bowel movements is a very common sign of hemorrhoids. But rectal bleeding can occur from other health issues too, including colorectal and anal cancer.

Don’t assume that bleeding is a result of hemorrhoids only, without consulting a doctor. Seek medical advice if your hemorrhoids cause pain, bleed most of the time, or don’t improve with home remedies.

If your hemorrhoid symptoms began with a clear change in bowel habits or you’re passing black, tarry or maroon stools, (blood clots or blood mixed in with the stool,) consult your health care professional immediately.

These signs can signal more extensive bleeding in your digestive tract. But a natural hemorrhoid treatment should first be used before running to the doctor.

Seek emergency care if you experience large amounts of rectal bleeding, lightheadedness, dizziness or fainting spells.

Hemorrhoid treatment may become more necessary as you get older because the tissues that support the veins in your rectum and anus can weaken and stretch.

Complications of hemorrhoids are rare but include:

Best Hemorrhoid Treatment!

Here are five Home Remedy Hemorrhoids Relief treatments that can be used:

Hemorrhoid Treatment Using Fiber

Fiber is a consistent and beneficial way of relieving hemorrhoid symptoms and bleeding. It can soften the stool, and increase its bulk, which helps to reduce the need for straining. Seven randomized trials, with 378 participants, found fiber improved symptoms including itching, discomfort, and pain.

Eat foods high in fiber, like whole grains and vegetables. Psyllium, a powdered fiber supplement, is a great option, one that’s inexpensive and readily available. Mix it in water or juice and drink immediately, followed by more water.

Another option is ground flaxseeds. Whatever the source of fiber, it’s important to drink sufficient water or constipation may occur.

Hemorrhoid Treatment Using Bioflavonoids

Bioflavonoids are a type of plant compound that stabilize and strengthen blood vessel walls by decreasing inflammation. They’ve been found to reduce anal discomfort, pain, and discharge during an acute hemorrhoid attack.

Side effects of bioflavonoids appear to be rare, making them a good treatment for hemorrhoids in pregnancy (the flavonoid “tangeretin,” shouldn’t be used by people taking “tamoxifen” for breast cancer).

The major flavonoids found in citrus fruits, appear to be beneficial. Daflon, a product made with citrus bioflavonoids was found to improve symptoms in pregnant women and reduced symptoms of pain, heaviness, bleeding, itching and discharge.

Hemorrhoid Treatment Using Witch Hazel

The over the counter medicine is made from the leaves and bark of a plant called Hamamelis virginiana. It should only be applied topically to the anal area in the form of witch hazel distilled liquid, ointment, or medicated pads.

Witch hazel decreases the bleeding of hemorrhoids by acting as an astringent.

Hemorrhoid Treatment Using Butcher’s Broom

The plant, butcher’s broom (Ruscus aculeatus), is also known as knee holly, box holly, and sweet broom. Butcher’s broom has been used for many years to treat hemorrhoids and varicose veins. Good for poor circulation in the veins.

Butcher’s broom is in capsule or tea form. The tea has a slightly bitter taste, so you may want to sweeten it with honey or stevia. The tea can be made by steeping one teaspoon of butcher’s broom in a cup of hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. Butchers broom has also been proven to be effective when applied topically as an ointment or compress.

Butcher’s broom should not be used by people with high blood pressure, BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia), pregnant or nursing women, or by people taking alpha blocker or MAO inhibitor drugs.

Hemorrhoid Treatment Using Horse Chestnut

Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) is an herb, and like Butchers broom, it’s often recommended when there is poor circulation in the veins, or chronic venous insufficiency. It’s used to relieve symptoms like swelling, inflammation and to strengthen blood vessel walls.

Horse chestnut can also be taken as a tea or capsule form. It can also be applied externally as a compress.

Best Hemorrhoid Treatment In My Opinion!

People with an allergy to horse chestnut, bleeding disorders, or people taking blood thinners should not take horse chestnut. Only products made from the seeds or bark of the young branches should be used. Other parts of the plant are poisonous. Side effects, although uncommon, have included severe bleeding, kidney damage, bruising, and liver damage.
